Spice Cupcakes with Cream cheese frosting! Fall Crawl Day 7 Featuring MEEEEE!

Hello and happy fall to you all!
Welcome to day 7 of the Fall Crawl.
As you may know, I love fall and I love cupcakes so.... Of course
I'm going to share a delicious home made cupcake recipe with you!
Spice Cupcakes with
Cream Cheese Frosting
Nom, nom, nom!!!

What you'll need:
3/4 cup butter
1+1/3 cups of sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3 cups Presto ( cake flour)
1 cup milk
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1tsp ginger
1/4 cup butter
8oz package cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mini Nilla Wafers
Hershey's Kisses
Baking cocoa (powdered)
Cupcake liners
Cupcake pans
1/4 cup (for adding batter to liners)
Oven (LOL, Duh)

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Cream butter and gradually add sugar.
-Add egg yolks. One at a time. (Beat well after each egg has been added)

-Add vanilla extract to milk
-  Slowly add Presto cake flour and milk/vanilla combo.
Alternate between adding the two to bowl. Mix well.
-Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

-Mix well.

-Line your cupcake pan with liners. Use 1/4 cup measuring spoon to fill each liner with batter.

-Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on edges.
( Do not overcook! No one likes a burnt cupcake!)
-While your cupcakes are baking, make your frosting and assemble the candy acorn toppers.
-Blend butter and cream cheese well
-Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract
-slowly add your powdered sugar and mix until fluffy

-To assemble simply add a dab of frosting to the flat side of your vanilla wafer and press flat side of Hershey's kiss to attach. Add a dab of frosting to top of wafer and sprinkle with chocolate.
-Remove cupcakes from oven and cool.
( Please make sure you cool your cupcakes! Otherwise, your frosting will look a hot mess!)

- Frost cupcakes with as much frosting as your heart desires!
( Just make sure there is enough to go around)
-Sprinkle with chocolate.

-Add your acorn toppers and you have your fall spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting!

Once again, HAPPY FALL. I hope you enjoy your cupcakes!

That's my 2 cents!

p.s. Tomorrow, we will be stopping by Chez Mukweto. Make sure you stop in and check out what fall awesomeness Jacqueline has to offer!
