This BEAUTIFUL ring was designed by the fabulous Jai Underhill. I met Jai while I was student teaching at the Neighborhood School in Jamaica Plain MA. Now, I knew Jai was an artist because she is the art teacher at the Neighborhood school. However, I didn't know she designed jewelry until my student teaching position had come to an end. The staff and students at Neighborhood School threw a going away party for me. At the party Jai presented me with this gorgeous pearl bracelet.
Once I discovered Jai's not so hidden, hidden talent, I asked her to help me. I had two rings I received as a teenager. One from my mother. The other from my godmother. I wanted to be able to wear the rings in a way that represented my current sense of style. Enter Jai.
Jai took these two rings and turned them into this:Jai's attention to detail is amazing. From the angles of the diamonds. To the twists and turns of the gold. I love how the precious metal cascades down the sides and then coils around the finger. My picture does this ring no justice!
It's a one of a kind piece and I'm so proud to be the owner!
That's my 2 cents!
